Review: Swatow Seafood Restaurant

Have been anticipating today (1st Feb) for the longest time!! It's my first time meeting @qianhanny @yellowfingers @bunnybunnz @ellenchann aka my yam sisters! <3

My 4th visit to Swatow's dim sum buffet and I can't help but feel disappointed. :( Read on to know the reason.

Char siew pau.

In my opinion the pau lacks the sweetness and that slightly 'burned' fragrance of what a good char siew pau should have. It used to be better. :(

Char Siew Sou

Something that I really really love too! But apparently, I was quite disappointed again. The pastry was so hard. Le sigh.. What happened?!

Something cute.

Hargow, which I'm not a fan of.

Siew mai was not bad though. Big, fat and juicy.

The redbean banana pancake which I think used to be better sadly.

The wasabi abalone pie! Which luckily is still good! Yay to that!

XLB has improved as compared to my previous visits.

Pandan Liu Sha Pau! The 5 on the left all went into my stomach.

A mandatory shot.

Another mandatory shot. This is black sesame btw.

Well, overall the food quality seriously went down so greatly from my previous visit and the choices were so limited too :( To think that I last visited only half a year ago! That probably explained why the restaurant used to be full house while the visit today wasn't even half filled.

Oh wells..

At least I have some good company. <3
