Recipe: Matcha red bean bread

PS: Divert a little. Remember my Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse Cake? I have submitted it to Aspiring bakers June series and I would appreciate if you could vote for me on Facebook if you like my creation. Thank you dears! <3

After the matcha red bean cake, as promised (though quite late), I'm back with another matcha and red bean creation!

Matcha red bean bread!

Ingredients:
250 g Bread Flour 250g
3 g Instant yeast 3g
10 g milk powder
Pinch of salt
15 g sugar
175 ml Warm Water
20g Unsalted butter
1 tbsp Matcha Powder

Method:
1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast, milk powder in a mixing bowl. Add warm water and mix till a smooth dough, and add in the butter. Continue to knead till you get a springy and smooth dough.

2. Bring the dough out to your work top and knead with your hands, portion out 1/3 form the dough and add in the Matcha powder. Knead both doughs until they don't stick to your hands.

3. Cover and let both dough rise in r.t.p for one hour till 2X bigger.

4. Remove dough from bowl and let it relax for 10 minutes.

5.After 10 minutes, roll both doughs flat to rectangular shape. Stack the matcha dough onto plain dough, spread on the red bean. Roll the dough up like a Swiss roll. Put it in a tin and let it have the last rise for one hour.

6.Bake the bread in pre-heat for 30 minutes at 190'c. Cool the bread on wire rack once it's baked.

This is step 5 that I'm referring to.

They say never judge a book by it's cover.

As plain as it appears to be, the magic is well hidden within.
