Media invite: RamenPlay

With Valentine's Day just round the corner, have you guys thought of where to bring your dates out?
Personally, I never believe in burning a hole in the pocket just because it's 14th the Feb. In fact, everyday is suppose to be Valentine yeah? hee.. The girls would definitely agree with me. :P

Anyhow, if you are looking for a nice place with good food and is economically friendly to the pocket, here's RamenPlay to your rescue!

In light of the upcoming Valentine's Day, RamenPlay commemorates the season of love by putting together a fuss-free and value-for-money set meal for two at $29.90*.
Couples can enjoy the Valentine's Day Special Menu for two simply by choosing ONE appetiser, TWO main courses and TWO drinks from the options available.

*** The Valentine's Day Special Menu for two is available at all RamenPlay restaurants islandwide from 10 to 14 February 2014.

Cha Shu Tonkotsu Ramen

I love how the noodles were springy and wasn't overly cooked as well. Also, I'm also concern with how some soup broth would be overly salty, leaving me grasping for water.  I however have no problem with this!

Ebi gyoza ramen

Yes, a combination of ebi and gyoza in one. How special isn't it?!

Again, it was another winning dish. IRamen steeped in a rich tonkotsu broth (contains nuts) and served with a delicious ebi gyoza, a succulent prawn encased in a crispy gyoza. Do note that this is only available specially for the Valentine's Day menu. So do give it a try! You won't regret for sure! :)

For the appetizer we had cripsy dango, or minced chicken meatballs.

Juicy and fat, that would be the adjectives I will use on the meatballs. Totally worth the calories.

Besides the Valentine's Day special menu, the boy and I also tried a few items from their usual menu.

Fried gyoza, 3 for $3.80.

The gyoza were really huge and satisfying. I thought it will be good if RamenPlay can consider putting their ebi-gyoza on their regular menu as well! ^^

Hiyashi ramen (chilled ramen), $10.80.

If I really have to choose, this would be my favourite of the night. I was really attracted to the idea of chilled ramen. It's really not something that you can find commonly anywhere. I'm glad I tried because the ramen was really refreshingly good and the noodles was very chewy too! Would definitely recommend everyone to give this a try too!

The boy and I really enjoyed our time at RamenPlay. We were really delighted by the food given their  economical pricing.

Because everyday is Valentine's Day with you. <3
