Jaylene is 1!

My baobei turned 1! 

Wow. It's hard to believe how my tiny baby went from 2.7kg to 10kg now. :')

Jaylene's cake smash photoshoot

Jaylene is turning 1 soon! I cannot speak enough of how time passes just so quickly! It felt like yesterday when I first held her in my arms. :') 

To celebrate this occasion we decided to do a cake smash + family photoshoot with Bespoke Photography. 

Jaylene's first food (weaning)

Jaylene started on solids 5 days before turning 6 months old! 

I shared her weaning journey on my Instagram and I promised I'll answer some of the commonly asked questions. So here you go! ^^

Oh ya, bare in mind that I'm no professional. Whatever I'm sharing is based on the information I've gathered from online reading and as shared by mummy friends. So take my words with a pinch of salt. Correct me if I'm wrong too! After all, I'm still learning as a first time mom. :) 

Baby J's 100th Day Celebration

Happy 100th Day my sweet little pie! 

It feels like yesterday when I've just given birth to this little one? Look how big she has grown! :O

As much as I love her small she was at her infancy stage, baby Jaylene is so interactive now! The way she communicates with us, in her baby language, is like she also really trying to respond to us! Haha! She is also very smiley and her smiles never fail to brighten up my day. :') 

Anyway, back to the 100th day celebration, initially we didn't plan to have one since we've done a full month party for her. (You can read on it here with some tips to planning one!) So anyway, while thinking on how to celebrate Mother's Day, we realised that her 100th Day is nearby too! So we decided to do a double celebration. Just with both sides of the family. ^^ 

Baby J's nursery tour

Hi guys!

A much delayed post, but I'm finally giving everyone a room tour of baby J's nursery room! Better late than never ya? :P 

I spent most of the time during my 3rd trimester thinking and decorating baby J's room. I'm really excited and enthusiastic about it! I think it's like doing something I longed for and never get to have? So I wanted my baby to have a beautiful (in my opinion) nursery room that she can happily play and grow up in.  

Ok, before you get too high of an expectation for baby J's room. It's actually quite simple, nothing too fanciful or pinterest worthy ok! Haha! Must set your expectation first. :P 

Baby J's Full Month Celebration + Guide to planning a full month celebration

Happy full month to my baby! ^^

I actually contemplated between having a full month or a 100 days celebration. Of course the latter would be more ideal since I've more time on hand to plan, baby would be more interactive and mummy would have more time to slim down. Haha! 

But our parents prefer the traditional full month celebration, so let's respect them for that. ^^ 

So this post, besides sharing on baby J's full month celebration, I'll be sharing some tips on how to plan one too! ^^

PEM Confinement Nanny Agency Review

I was so happy that my confinement is finally over~ But at the same time, I do feel a bit sad to end it as well. Mainly because we had a really great relationship with our confinement nanny, Auntie Jing Jie.

Baby J's birth story

10 Feb 2018, finally we got to carry our baby girl after 37 weeks and 6 days of anticipation. <3

Totally did not expect myself to go into labour this early. I had thought that baby J will be able to hold till after Chinese New Year! I've been wishing for after 20 Feb so that she can be a Pisces like mummy. :P

Nonetheless, I'm very thankful for my healthy girl. 

So here's the story! ^^
