Review: The Prive

The Prive has always been one of my must-visit-cafe for the longest time~

Do you get what I mean now? This place is just.. TOO BEAUTIFUL.

The PrivĂ© has always been one of the defacto places for brunch in Singapore. Located deep withing Keppel Bay, so it's not exactly accessible unless with a car. However, this is also what makes the place beautiful. Isolated far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, just the sea, the food and of course your company.

Lovely brunch with an awesome view is what The Prive sells.

Steak with fries, $30.

The boy requested his to be done medium-rare. Do you think it is?

Ultimate Brekkie, $20.

(2 eggs (any style), 6-inch chicken frankfurter, maple-roasted bacon, roasted Roma tomato, sauteed button mushrooms, potato rosti and homemade wholemeal toast)

To be very honest, this was really forgettable. The wholemeal toast was too dry, poached eggs were tasteless and the potato rosti has to be the worse I've ever tried. :/

Sticky Date Pudding with Homemade Butterscotch and Vanilla Ice cream, $12.

After a not so delicious meal, we were glad that the dessert made up for it.

What's better than having ice cream and sweets under the scorcing Sun? :D

Overall, it was a great experience at The Prive, nice and relaxing. However, I do feels that you're paying more for the scene than the food itself. Not that I mind because the place is really too beautiful for a miss. It really makes a good place for a quiet time with your partner. :)
