Review: Miam Miam @ Westgate

Hello everyone! Mr Tan popping by again! :D

Bought the girl here for dinner after work, since someone has been dropping too many obvious hints that she wants some Miam Miam.

Miam Miam, the artisanal French cafe-restaurant that offers a fusion of French with Japanese influenced cuisines.

Lets take a selfie while waiting for our seats. heh heh..

Be there early or be sorry! The queue was amazingly long and we waited for close to an hour to get in.

Iced Matcha Latte w Softee, $8.80.

A little accident occurred as the girl spilled the drink all over the table. I must say that despite it being a busy peak hour period, the waitress promptly helped us to clear the mess and even offered us a complimentary drink. We were really grateful for their wonderful service.

Miam Miam Spaghetti, $15.80.

Sautéed with frankfurters, tomatoes, baby spinach and bacon, a must-ordered dish when you're at Miam Miam, according to the girl.

However, we felt that the pasta was a little undercooked and lack some flavourings. Not sure if this is due to the overwhelming tickets entering the kitchen?

French Toast, $9.80.

The girl said this is another all-time-favourite at Miam Miam.

Agree that it tasted soft and fluffy. But for $9.90? I could get half a dozen loaves of bread and let the girl make this in her kitchen!

Valrhona Chocolate Souffle, $13.80.

So.. Sooo good! The soufflé tasted light and airy but the wait was a little too long though.

Matcha w Red Bean Pancake, $12.80.

Another must-try item for the girl. Why do I feel like I'm having desserts for dinner? Haha!

The girl told me that the pancake is suppose to be very very fluffy. Maybe I was expecting too much, but that wasn't how I felt after eating.

Beware that all their desserts requries at least 20 minutes to prepare. So.. be prepared to wait!

Ok, another restaurant strike off the girl's eating-list. Many more to go!
