Ok, so the previous time I wrote about Hyde & Co, Symmetry and Artistry. Today, I'm writing another 3 more in Bugis area!

Hello everyone! Because I have been eating too much around Bugis area, so I've decided to compile the places that I've been to into a few posts! Well, Bugis is like a place where youngsters, like me (lol!), hang out right? Hehe..

So yup. I'm starting with the 3 cafes that you probably will want to visit when you're cafe hopping in the area! :) 

First up, Hyde & Co. located along North Bridge Road!

How is everyone's June going so far? :D 

It has been a non-stop eating month for me (what's new), even after I'm back from Japan! Thought of eating healthier after I come back, but failed miserably because Singapore is a food paradise~ Hahahaha! 

Ok. Back to topic. :P 

So after I touched down in Singapore, I went to Tony's Pizza food tasting the next day! Because New York style pizza is just too tempting for me to say no and focus on eating greens! Bahahahaha! #glutton 

So I went and had no regret on going because calories not wasted! :D 

Review: Density Frozen Custard @ Short Street + GIVEAWAY

Have you heard of frozen custard? 

I'm starting to imagine your "???" expressions. Hahaha!

I was like you too, frozen custard? Custard that is frozen? LOL! 

Well..

Frozen custard is essential a type of ICE CREAM! 

A little knowledge for you on the history of frozen custard. Ok don't fall asleep yet, something exciting is waiting for you at the end! :D 

It is unique to USA, dating back to 1919! Because of its extremely low overrun and high butterfat content, frozen custard is categorised by the USDA (US Department of Agriculture) as a super premium ice cream!

Joo, a brand new makgeolli bar and restaurant located just across Bugis Junction. 

In case you're unfamiliar with the term, makgeolli, it is actually the oldest alcoholic beverage native to Korean. Unlike the more popular, soju, makgeolli is not distilled after fermentation, thus it is a milky white colour instead. 

No worries if you have no idea about the existence of makgeolii, neither did I in the beginning! In fact, Joo is the first in Singapore to proudly brew their own makgeolli!

How large is Pie Face actually? It is actually a leading micro-bakery cafe from Australia with more than 80 stores around the world! 

Also, do you know that Singapore is the first country in Asia that Australia's Pie Face has ventured into? Feeling so proud and honoured of our little red dot. ^^
