Once upon a Saturday, I brought the girls for a food-coma session. :P
I was really excited to taste their house's special, colourful hargow and squid ink char siew pau (Bao Qing Tian)!
To my dismay, the char siew pau was quite a disappointment. :( Yes the pau was fluffy but the filling was so dry~
The one and only colourful hargow in town: original, spinach, carrot, squid ink, sweet potato and pumpkin.
Sadly, it was just appealing visually. You probably won't be able to differentiate them under a blind-tasting. Hah. Good effort on that though, at least they were pretty. :D

Enough of the steamed version. Here's a more sinful one, oven baked. I was thinking it resembles the Tim Ho Wan's polo char siew pau?
Look at those gorgeous golden lava! <3 Definitely best dish of the night goes to this baby.
As you can see, we ordered too much. So I'll just zoomed into the good ones.
Can't remember the exact name, but it's a deep fried beancurd skin with prawns. Love the juicy and huge prawns in it! :D
Stir fried chee cheong fun with prawns. Usually cck comes in the steamed form isn't it? But this is the stir fried version (like kway teow), it was very flavourable!
