Media invite: Royal Pavilion @ Park Regis Singapore (CNY Menu)

Royal Pavilion, a fairly new restaurant which has built up their name with Cantonese dishes is up-ing the culinary ante with their first menu creations for Chinese New Year! Of course with a touch of Cantonese cuisine in this special festive menu as well. :)

Even before trying the food, I've already attached by the beautiful restaurant!

Recipe: 8-Treasures Duck (八宝鸭) *CNY Special*

With Chinese New Year just round the corner, for the upcoming posts I will not just be featuring some of the restaurants that you may want to bring your family to for reunion lunch/dinner. I will also be posting some recipes that you may want to try to make for your family for this CNY! :)

I know some of us may not like to squeeze with the crowd in the restaurant? Or we missed the reservation quota? Whatever the reason might be, no food is comparable to homemade ones I will say. :)

Long time readers of mine will be aware that I really dislike steps that are long and tedious, I tend to simplify recipes but I for sure would not compromise the taste of my food! So don't feel afraid of cooking, the dish, 8-Treasures Duck, definitely isn't as complicated as it sounds!

So here we go! :)

Media invite: Grand Mandarina Restaurant 御华庭 @ New Bridge Road

Grand Mandarina Restaurant, just slightly 6 months old, is already making a big hit in the Chinese fine dining field! Well, just look at the amount of magazines and newspapers cut out about the restaurant.

Occupying 2 levels, upon stepping into the restaurant you could already feel the surrounding is filled with grandness and richness of Chinese culture.

Media invite: Tim Ho Wan @ Aperia Lavender

Tim Ho Wan, I'm sure you need no introduction to the cheapest Michelle Starred restaurant in the World. :)

After making it's way onto Singapore's shore last year, Tim Ho Wan has quickly expanded to open many outlets around the island due to it's popularity. It has recently opened its 5th outlet at Aperia Lavender, a new hangout in Kallang/Lavender area.
