He's the man

Daddy turns 46 yesterday! :) Yups! I know my dad like damn young compared to most my peers. :P

Anyway becox my dad is super AWESOME and awesome people get special treatment so his birthday was celebrated over the course of 2 days! LOL! Yesterday and today! :D Ok, more like we didn't have the time to head out for dinner yesterday. LOL! 

Anyhow, here's part one:

03/09, Sat: 

On typing the date it triggers me suddenly like , Woei Pang, Sebas, Gina and Lindy shares the same birthday date as my dad! WOW! 

Okok, so part 1 of celebration.. LOL! 

Brother and I were like damn busy the whole day! Busy making our present for our beloved dad~ (like so mushy) 

I'm really proud of this not-so-little-boy-but-i-like-to-call-him-little-boy. 

So glad he found his passion! 

Keep it up dear boy! Jie jie will always be there for you! :) 

The DIY photo displays that he did. Seriously I wouldn't be able to do something like this. 

I was literally admiring his work!

On my request, mummy made 'hong zao ji mian xian'! Sudden craving for it! :P 

This is solely for daddy, egg and longevity noodle! 

And me, of cox super busy like a bee~ hahahaha!

 Start work immediately after a quick lunch until dinner! 

*phew*

Had to bake birthday cake, make snowskin mooncake, give brother my opinion on his photo display and most importantly have to juggle my 'japan life'!

Very happy with the cake! I'm easily satisfied!

Anyway this cake is really easy to bake! Like much easier compared to the cake I baked for my brother's birthday! 

But my unreliable toaster oven nearly screwed my cake! Cox the sponge cake actually 'exploded' while baking. T.T 

Luckily I managed to slice off the broken part and 'concealed' it with the pandan paste. *phew*

IF NOT I'M GONNA THROW THE TOASTER DOWN! 

lol!

Anyway, daddy get doubting that I baked the cake!

This cake was specially chosen for daddy, cox I remembered he loves Bengawan Solo's version! Mine may not be so good, but there's a special ingredient in it! MY LOVE! *mushy* LOL!

I can't believe I actually have the gut to post this photo to the world! I LOOK LIKE CUI! :( 

Anyway, the cake was good! (Y)

I actually removed all the coconut decor before eating coxI don't like coconut actually. :( 

So imagine my horror of having my hands full of coconut milk smell after baking the cake. :( :( :(  

But I like the cake though! :D

04/09, Sun

Cancelled my tuition for the lunch time buffet with family~ (My 13th/14th buffet this yr. :X)

$$$ fly away~ 

LOL!

Anyway, I chose Vienna Internation Seafood Teppanyaki Restaurant for the buffet. It's our 2nd visit to the place. We rarely come cox of the price of cox! :X 

Lunch time buffet was $42 per pax after GST and what not. 

So of cox we had to make our visit worth it! HAHA!

Oh! Rest assured that your money will be spent on good food! The seafood was really very fresh! Especially the oysters! :D 

My advise is to book before you come down for buffet. The place is always filled with people! And of cox because it's a Sunday too. So just reserve a table to be safe! :)

Ok, so we ate for 3.5hrs there. :X I'm not going to flood this post with all the 3.5hrs worth of food. Just the YOU MUST HAVE ones will do. :)

Crabs, anyway there are like 4 types of crabs! This steamed one, black pepper, claypot tang hoon crab and Bee hoon crab soup (my fav is the last 2!)

More seafood and abalone! It surprised me that their abalone was a premium one! Just spam on it! YUM! 

Buddha Jump over Wall. Where the $ goes again. LOL!

The family totally agrees that their oysters were super fresh!

Ate a lot of oysters today, though I'm not a fan of them. :X 

Anyway, seeing oyster reminds me of Juyin and Hidaya. LOL! 

They have quite a huge range of teppanyaki food too. The ones that I recommend would be the salmon, beef and lamb steaks!

This humble like thing is actually mushroom cream soup. Humble compared to the others but just as tasty if not better! Must try pls! :) 

Anyway they also serve many other soups, mainly herbal ones. 

Bird nest egg tarts

These tarts were really crazy! Consider me lucky, I just happened to pass by the counter when these goodness were out. Cox the egg tarts were swept off literally within seconds! I only got 4. :( Well, it's bird nest. :/

Yups, these are some of the you really cannot missed items.

The first plate was ok la, still can make it. The ones that you have to get are the second plate! The cheesecake and the rich dark chocolate cake! Ate 4 pieces of them. :X

Anyway I realised my family have very distinct buffet habits. Duhh.. 

Daddy eats the right amount only. Never silly-ly stuffing himself with food. Which is good! But he will always rush us to quickly finish eating and leave the place. =.= Cox he feels 'paiseh' to eat too long. LOL!

Mummy eats the most! and always the best foo! The seafood! So bring mummy out for buffet is like really very worth it. haha!

Brother always having the fried items, the drinks and of cox the ICE CREAM ! He don't eat any seafood AT ALL. 

Me.. I aim to eat all the items that the buffet offers! LOL! 

So the weekend was kinda 'wasted' in a very good way! Family bonding time! :) But really time to pick up the notes! 

2 days week next week~ ^^

Anyway my night didn't end with a good note.
