Media invite: Roosevelt's Diner & Bar

Tucked away in a quiet corner near Outrum Park MRT station, Roosevelt’s Diner & Bar is an eclectic modern diner that offers hearty all-day dining.

Here at Roosevelt’s, they offer a unique indoor dining experience where the interior is characterised by an industrial chic décor with a touch of grunge eclecticism. Definitely a great place to chill with a couple of friends after a long day.

The owners of Roosevelt’s have a portfolio of extensive F&B experience, including a French fine dining restaurant, Millesime, in Kuala Lumpur. Millesime is an award-winning restaurant, voted as one of Asia’s top restaurants by The Miele Guide, and having been rated as one of the top dining must-do’s in 2011 by Singapore’s Food & Travel Magazine.

One of the main attraction of Roosevelt would be their wide selection of wine collection. You're sure to find you that suit your taste bud!

Salted Caramel Milkshake, $8.

Dinner started with a milkshake while we waited for the main course to be served. If you have a sweet tooth like me, Roosevelt's salted caramel is made for you. However, I would recommend sharing as the milkshake itself can quite filling!

Boy, were we spoiled with food? <3

BBQ baby ribs (half), $22.

This was seriously, LIP-SMACKINGLY GOOD! The meat itself was so tender that it simply fell off the bone with a pull from the fork. I especially love the marination which was a great combination of  different spices and Chef's secret sauce. Argh, I need that secret sauce!

Southern Fried Chicken, $18.

Unlike your typical fried chicken from any fastfood chain, Roosevelt' fried chicken was fried to perfection to give a crisp outer skin and yet a soft and tender inner meat. Amanda revealed slightly about their secret, which is milk. The chickens were marinated with milk to give them a very tender and juicy texture. Sounds yum already? On the side, there were fresh salad with triple mash, consisting of potato, sweet potato and pumpkin.

I TOTALLY COULDN'T STOP DIGGING IN THEIR TRIPLE MASH! Such a fantastic creation. Now I can have the best of the three worlds!

Teddy's 100% US Beef Burger, $20.

Using two different types of beef, this classic burger is so extremely burger was so moist and juicy! In fact, it was voted by City Nomads as one of the best beef burger in town!

Just how huge and naughty this burger was. Sharing is highly recommended.

But first, let me take a selfie.

LOL! Sorry for the bad pun. I just have to. :P

Fruli Strawberry Beer, $10.

While the boy opted for his red wine, my dinner was washed down by this cute bottle of sweet beer over here. I would recommend this to ladies out there who like a drink which doesn't have high alcohol content.

Apple forest berries crumble, $8.

Of course dinner wouldn't be completed with some sweet.

One of the must try dessert in the house. Warm baked cinnamon apple filling embedded with generous amount of granola and crispy baked crumble, and finally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You just can't stop digging for more!

Flourless chocolate cake, $5.

Chocolate fans, you can't miss this sweet out. One of the best flourless cake I have ever tried.

Thank you Amanda for the warm hospitality! ^^

Overall, the food here is decent with great American influence. Therefore, forget about your calories when you're here! Haha!
